Ruta Rose Street/New Town
-
Standing Order

Stag Party Classy Pub Crawl
From The Blazer go straight through Bread St, turn left at West Port tillGrassmarket to get the White Hart Inn.
From The White Hart turn at the left straight till the corner of GrassMarket with Bow Street to get to the Bow Bar
From The Bow bar go up along Victoria street, turn left in George IV bridge, then turn right at Royal Mile and Come down till Cockburn Street. This leaves the Royal Mile (Edinburgh High Street) very close to the cross roads with the North and South Bridge (known locally as “the bridges”). Fleshmarket Close is the first close, or flight of steps off Cockburn Street on the right. -
The Half Way House
the Halfway House is found halfway down Fleshmarket Close, the long flight of stone stairs that rise from almost opposite the Market Street entrance to Waverley Station up to Cockburn Street. It's one of the few free houses in Old Town and a wonderful pub for those about real pub life and real ale. They have several cask ales on rotation always well kept and they feature several beer festivals and related contests per year. A bonnie bar where to feel the real Edina's pub enviroment real ales and a wonderful and economic local cuisine
-
Bow Bar
A classy in all manners- classic and with a lot of class. It has the original air pressure pumps, typically Scottish and almost dissapeared from which to serve authentic real ales(between 5 and 7 cask ales.reRal ale is really at the heart of the Bow Bar's success. It is one of just two Edina's pubs covered by the Good Beer Guide that have been featured in all eight of CAMRA's Good Beer Guides from 2000 to 2007 (the other being the Guildford Arms). A must in more than a sense

White Hart Inn
The White Hart is Edinburgh's oldest pub, and parts or the interiors date back to 1516. Much of the rest of the building can be dated back to 1740. Authentic enviroment, lots of locals real ales a couple of scottish regular pumps and other 2 guest and seasonal and up to 20 different whiskies
-
The Blue Blazer
The Blue Blazer, C.A.M.R.A's Edinburgh Pub of the Year 2004, offers a great choice of cask ales( up to 8 pumps on display) as well as a full range of whiskies and Rhums. A really nice place with a relaxed enviroment.
