Torreó de la Peça
Resto de arquitectura militar de la ciudadela, data entre los siglos XIV-XV, reforzado en el S.XVI por orden de Felipe II. En 1947 el Ayuntamiento llevó a cabo el derribo de la “peça” quedando al descubierto el Torreó cuya existencia se desconocía.De base troncocónica, su parte superior es cilíndrica. En 1981 se restauraron el Torreó y las murallas actualmente existentes. TORREÓ DE LA PEÇA: The Torreo de la Peça is what remains of the military architecture of the walled city, dating to the end of the 14th or the beginning of the 15th century and reinforced in the 16th century under orders from Felipe II. In 1947 the Town Hall demolished the “peça”, uncovering the Torreó, or Tower, the existence of which was unknown. The base is a cone-like construction while the upper part is cylindrical. Materials used in its construction were stone and mortar. In 1981 the tower and the walls still existing were restored to their present form. TORREÓ DE LA PEÇA: Das ist alles, was von der militärischen Architektur der inneren Stadt Ende des XIV. Jhdt. Anfang des XV. Jhdt. blieb. Restauriert im XVIII. Jhdt. Auf Anordnung Felipe III. Im Jahre 1947 ordnete das Rathaus den Abriss von la peça an. Bei diesen Arbeiten wurde der Torreó entdeckt, der bis dahin unbekannt war. Seine Basis ist kegelförmig, der obere Teil zylindrisch geformt. Die Baumaterialien: Natursteine und Mörtel. 1981 wurden Torreó und Mauern in der heutigen Form restauriert.
