Època de joventut

El seu matrimoni va ser un fracàs i la literatura es convertí en un escapament d'una vida massa monòtona. Va començar col·laborant en diverses publicacions com La Veu de Catalunya, La Publicitat o Mirador. El 1937 va escruire Aloma, novel·la que va reescriure l'any 1969 convertint-la en una obra completament diferent.<br />
