Thompson Park
Waltham park, with basketball court. One communty mural on wall. On November 11, 2007, Brandeis CP 201 students collaborated Peer Leaders at the Boys and Girls club to paint a new mural there. The mural is entitled "Paths to Success" and depicts a fork in the road; one path leads to a colorful, positive future, the other path leads to a monochrome landscape of death and despair.

Fenced area Prospect Hill
This fenced-in area, around a rock, was very overgrown with weeds and vines. Brandeis students cleaned it on 9/30/07 and began to paint the chain link fence. They continued to paint it on 11/4/07.

Prospect Hill Community Center (planned)
This building at 24 Hansen Road once housed a community center; it was then rented out to Middlesex Human Services. The Waltham Housing Authority is doing renovations on the property; the new community center should open in December 2008. In the meantime, a temporary community center will be opened at Prospect Hill in December 2007.
