Rawson was the accomodation site for the construction of the Thompson dam. It is now a very nice small town close to several places of
interest. The caravan park is in a secluded tall forest area. The sites are huge and most come with a ensuite for only $24. Within the
caravan park, and just a stones throw from the van sites is the Stockyard pub. Great meals in a shed atmosphere.
From Rawson you can vist the following places:
Thompson dam wall.
The historic township of Walhalla.
