On my family's trip to NYC, my sister and I went to Battery Park. This is a great spot to look over and view the Statue of Liberty, and to see the NY skyline. It is also a good place to buy things. There are always street vendors who are willing to sell you things like watches, wallets, sunglasses, and purses. Sometimes these things are not always legal. My sister and I didn't buy anything illegal but we saw the knockoffs.
This is the spot where my family (my parents, grandparents, and aunts and uncles) like to spend a lot of our summers. Our lake cabin is really small, but it fits us just fine. After all, you're really only inside to sleep. At the lake, we like to go out on our pontoon boat and stop in a calm cove, and swim and relax. My favorite thing is to take the Jetski out and do doughnuts, and race across the water. I have fallen off a few times. We have a great time at our lake cabin.
