June 17, 1775. The Battle of Bunker hill was fought in Charleston, Massachusetts. 1,500 Colonial Volunteers fought against 4,000 British Regulars. Although the British managed to capture the field they lost 1,150 killed or wounded to only 450 Americans.
December 17, 1773. Enraged about the Tea Tax that was passed in British Parliament on May 10. A group of Bostonian activists dressed as Mohawk Indians dump 342 containers of tea into Boston Harbor.
March 5, 1770, British troops open fire on a group of unarmed Bostonian civillians who were throwing snowballs and trash at the soldiers. They killed five and wounded six.
