Early Wright (aka "Soul Man"), who broadcast on WROX,was one of the nation's first prominent African-American DJs. This site is a stopping place in the audio tour of the New World District developed by Brandeis University students in collaboration with Delta Blues Museum and the Delta Center for Culture and Learning.
