Soria

Residió en la ciudad de Soria, y ocupó el puesto de catedrático de francés en un instituto. En 1909 conoció y se casó con la joven Leonor Izquierdo. Pero ella falleció de tuberculosis en 1912, lo cual dejó destrozado al escritor, que abandonó la ciudad ese mismo año. Antes de morir Leonor, fue publicado "Campos de Castilla" (1912).
