Respect Magazine
This is the location for the offices of Respect Magazine. This magazine deals specifically with the political and cultural issues of the Parisian suburbs. They cover events and news of the Suburbs and also movie, music and book reviews. However, they employ people from all over France, focusing mostly on Paris and it's suburbs. When we asked one of the editors why they were located in the heart of Paris rather than in the suburbs, which they represent, he replied by saying that the need for the suburbs was to be recognized as a part of the city of Paris. By placing the offices in the heart of the city the idea is to connect the suburbs to the city itself and bring the two areas physically and symbolically together.
