Puerto de Las Muñecas

Para liberar Bilbao, el general Concha resolvió ocupar el formidable paso de las Muñecas, dirigiéndose el 28 de Abril de 1874 la división Echagüe á dar un brioso ataque á las posiciones de la derecha con el fin de tomar el pico de Haya, que domina el puerto de las Muñecas; y el general Martínez Campos, con la división de su mando, marchó hacia las alturas y trincheras establecidas en su izquierda, quedando la división Reyes en reserva. El 2 mayo de 1874 se liberó Bilbao.
