En Collioure Antonio vivió durante unos años junto a su hermano Manuel. Allí trabajó de actor y conoció a diferentes artistas como Pío Baroja, Oscar Wilde, etc. También tomó clases de Henri Bergson. Al final aquí fué dónde se exilió murió.
