International Polar day celebrated at NCAOR, Goa, India

National Centre for Antarctic & Ocean Research at Headland Sada, Vasco, which is the nodal agency for Indian chapter of the IPY, celebrated International Polar Day by holding movies, lectures & elocution contest for school children of Goa. This Polar Day is also parallely celebrated at the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF-India) at New Delhi with lectures & other competitions. Weather Coditions:Warm & dry with air temperatures around 30 deg celcius, with no rain, mild winds, visibility is very good with clear sky...all in all very pleasant sunny weather
