Hotel Casa de la Real Aduana
The Colonial town of Patzcuaro, situated in the heart of Michoacan, is an authentic living museum, a cultural and tourist destination to appreciate. At the beginning of the 16th Century the first Royal Customs House of the Pacific Coast was built here. Declared a Historical Monument, this magnificent edifice represents and example of the High Colonial architecture of Mexico and houses today the Hotel Casa de la Real Aduana, a unique five-room boutique hotel located in the heart of Patzcuaro, half a block from the stunning colonial Plaza Vasco de Quiroga, close to its celebrated lake, surrounded by the Purhepecha Indian tradition villages.
