Guernica destroyed

Area destroyed by fascist bombardment in Gernika, 26 April 1937.

Attack was carried by nazi forces of the Condor legion of the Luftwaffe, helped by Italian planes, under the command of Spain's General Francisco Franco and its general for the Northern Front of the Spanish Civil War, General Emilio Mola.
