Discovering Polar Science - CEGEP Ste.Foy

This second outreach event organized by Arctic researchers and graduate students at the Universite Laval went wonderfully well. We had a good audience; about 50 high school students attended!! This event featured a series of interactive presentations about Arctic research and fieldwork. All the presentations were very inspiring and dynamic, I think everyone present, audience and presenters alike, learned a lot and had fun. I'm sure that a lot of the students we spoke to yesterday will be browsing the IPY website next week, after what we told them of IPY and International Polar Week.
