Collieure

Tras la caida de Barcelona, Machado es exiliado a Collioure con su familia, allí muere el 28 de Enero y poco después muere su madre. El último verso que escribió el poeta dice así "Estos días azules y este sol de infancia." Y fueron encontrados en su bolsillo poco después de morir.
