Castillo de Santa Bárbara

El Castillo Santa bárbara, se encuentra situado sobre la montaña del Benacantil. Una de sus características más conocidas es la imagen en la roca, que vista desde la playa del Postiguet parece una cara, según los alicantinos " la cara del moro". Muchas veces se ha utilizado esta imagen como reclamo turístico.//It is set on the Monte Benacantil hill, a location of great strategic value. It is so-called as it was captured from the Moors by prince Alfonso of Castile on the feast day of Santa Bárbara.
