Castillo de La Atalaya

Posiblemente el monumento más destacado y visitado de la ciudad. Construido por los Árabes entre los siglos XII y XIII en la cima del Monte de San Cristóbal. Su particular singularidad viene dada por el doble amurallado y planta rectangular. Bóvedas almohades nervadas más antiguas de España. Desde 1931 declarado Monumento Histórico-Artístico y BIC. Visitas gratuitas y guiadas: - Martes a viernes 10:30, 11:30 y 12:30. - Sábados, domingos y festivos: 11:00, 12:00 y 13:00. - Lunes cerrado.
