Cantonigròs

1955.- Als trenta-un anys es casa amb Isabel. L'any següent neix la seva primera filla, que va morir als quatre mesos: escriu "Coral romput", que posteriorment serà recitat amb tanta força per Ovidi Montllor: "Ovidi Montllor, el meu germà, va recitar immillorablement, el meu "coral romput"" (El forn de sol); També el Llibre d'exilis es relaciona amb aquesta mort. Posteriorment tingués dos fills més: noi i noia. El 1956 rep el premi Cantonigròs; el 1958 el Premi Valencià (per La clau que obri tots els panys), i el 1965 el premi Ausiàs March, també a València.
