The participants are mentored with younger children to help them study, do homework. and other recreational activities. After making a 12 month commitment, you spend atleast 4 hours per month with your mentee and then discuss with a coordinater of how your relationship is going. You should be willing to set aside some of your time to spend it with your mentee.
