The Community Center Is Fun
The Community center is a special place to me in my community. Its special to me because it is an interesting place. Its interesting because there is a lot of activities to do. Some of the activities are Playing games, doing homework, getting on the computer, playing double dutch, and a lot more things. The last time i was there it was like twenty-five people there and i was with my friend Dezire. We had a lot of fun we did every thing we even went to the movies. That day was a Friday and our supervisor decided to reward us for the great thing we did for the community. Which was delivering meals to the old people the day before Thanksgiving. So Mrs. Lopez tried to find a way to get us to the movies without us paying, and she did. When we went we had to be in groups of five so we had five adults to watch each group. We took the twelve bus to A.M.C Movie Theater. I thought my adult Ms. Margret was mad cool. She was not mean she let us do anything as long as we didn't disrespect her or anything else. The people that were in my group was three girls and two boys. It was me[Kenneisha], Dezire, Monica, Ja'Sean, Jamel, and of course Ms. Margret. In some ways the community center can be educational. It's like a after school program in some ways. People in my community would except me to write this because I'm telling the truth and they know this. The community center does not let you do anything unless you do your homework. If you didn't have any homework you would have to read a book for thirty min. or an hour it depends what time you come in and who the supervisor is. The time to it starts is 3:00pm to 7:00pm. But some people may not come until 4:00pm because they get out of school at like 3:30 and get to the center at about 4:00.The community center is open to the public not just the people who live in the building.
