Op deze school was in 2002-2003 een oudergroep actief; het initiatief mislukte omdat de groep zelf verdeeld was. Inmiddels is de school onderdeel van Brede School 't Koggeschip. Mondjesmaat schrijven nu Nederlandse ouders hun kinderen in. Stadsdeel kampt met witte vlucht naar Halfweg en Spaarndam.
