Lucknow Distric Jail

They cock a snook at the jail security, literally. With Lucknow District Jail having become an open territory where visitors come and go as and when they feel like, prisoners are getting their cake and eating it too. In this instance, of course, what was delivered to the jail doorstep was a box containing live chicken for one of the high-profile jail-birds confined to the quarantine barrack. In an interesting turn of events, some five visitors turned up to see a prisoner and were carrying a cold drink carton for their friend. But soon the security guards at the jail heard the carton go cock-a-doodle-doo. Inspection revealed that the friendly visitors were taking care of their friend's liking for non-vegetarian food.
