Tucumán
Tucumán, unlike its provincial cousins to the south, is brash, energetic and seductive; it has a real buzz on the streets, particularly in the evening. The impression of this sophisticated city is that it is on the brink of urban greatness. It has fluorished in the past, and given an economic boost, it will probably do so again in the future. Tucumán has a character all of its own with its colonial and 19-th century historic sites, lots of cultural attractions, and the din of the citys many hip cafe-bars.

En el río El Tala y a 3 kilómetros del centro. Ideal para la pesca y deportes naúticos. Hay una cascada de 15 metros en el Balcón de la Cascada y una buena panorámica desde el Balcón de la Ciudad.
Monumento Histórico Nacional. Proyectada por el arquitecto milanés Luis Caravati, y construida entre los años 1.859 y 1.869. Es de estilo neoclásico. Ubicada en la Plaza 25 de Mayo.
