Tagzania in your language

Tagzania is now multilingual. We hope to add more languages to our interface. We consider our translations to be open content (Creative Commons ShareAlike). The translations provided by our kind contributors might be reused elsewhere, but they cannot become copyrighted material. That's the same treatment we will offer to your translations, if you decide to contribute with your own effort, to get Tagzania in your language.

Technically, i18n and l10n are handled with Localizer, a Zope product. This product follows standard GNU Gettext methodology to manage interface languages. You may get the .po files here:

If you produce a new .po file for another language, and you grant such an open license to the translations, we will gladly integrate in Tagzania, giving you proper credit, and we'll also provide it as a downloadable and searchable file at Tumatxa.

Please contact through the mailing list for versions in new languages.

So far, language versions only reach the user interface features, not documentation like this page that you are reading in the About section. Translation of these pages would require much more work. We apologise for possible errors that may be visible in different language versions. We will gladly receive your feedback in order to correct those errors. Please be clement with us, and use the mailing list for that purpose. Thank you very much. Eskerrik asko.
