UK addresses can be found now (mostly thru postcodes)

When posting a place, now you can search for United Kingdom addresses in Tagzania, thanks to an improvement in the Google Maps API geocoding service. However, it's not sure that you will always find something with complete british addresses... We've tested with several of them, and results vary. However, there's a way to find things very closely, using the very precise UK postal code system.

We've been searching for several geographic associations to test the system. The venerable Royal Geographical Society (RGS) is, according to contact information, at 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7 2AR, UK. But entering that address thru the posting interface, gives no result. The same goes for the Royal Scottish Geographical Society at 40 George Street, Glasgow G1 1QE.

Anyway, instead of searching for full addresses, you may try with the postal codes, which give quite precise geocoding. Regarding those uncharted societys mentioned above:
These British postcodes are normally found just typing them, but adding the country code UK to your query is nevertheless commendable, mostly with placenames at large, for instance with Lincoln, UK.
