Convert from Google Earth to Tagzania (Mac)

John Christopher Burns from Atlanta, user jcburns at Tagzania, has contributed with a little utility for Mac users that have Google Earth at their computers. This script (download kml2tagzania.scpt.zip), once installed, lets you convert a given Google Earth pinpoint into a Tagzania location.

Mr. Burns warns that it probably only works with KML that has one placemark in it. It does seem to work indeed, but be careful out there.

It works this way. You are running Google Earth on you Mac. You select a given location, and on the edit menu, you choose copy.

Then you open the script, and run it. The image shows that, in the background, a browser will open with Tagzania.

And there it is, the usual posting interface. Give a description, title and some tags, and you have it at your account.

These screenshots at full size at this Flickr set. Thank you very much, John!
